This looks so cool! I love how you interpreted the prompt and the angle you chose in your drawing.

Thank you! I thought it was interesting though how a friend of mine interpreted this as drain.

It looks good enough to appear in an anime movie!

Anime?...not quite what I was going for, but good enough I guess. I'm still trying to get into Anime because so many people around me love it so much. It's taking me some getting used to.

I can understand that, though I've found there are several different types of anime. Some focus more on the fantastical, while others actually are more reality-based. May I suggest one anime film you may (or may not) enjoy? It's called "Perfect Blue", and its a 1997 psychological horror film (perfect for the month of Halloween ). While it does have some fantastical elements, its all a matter of the main character losing her grip on reality.

Its an R-rated film, though, so there are some scenes of violence and sexual stuff. But the film overall is very immersive, not to mention its extremely layered in its narrative. I read somebody described it as "If Walt Disney and Alfred Hitchcock made a movie together."

Here's a summary of the plot: its about a pop idol named Mima who gives up her career to go into acting instead. This doesn't suit well with a number of fans, one in particular. She ends up getting a fax calling a traitor, and then she finds out that somebody has made an online "diary" of sorts about her... only its told from her perspective... and every entry is unsettling-ly accurate, as if somebody has been watching her every single day and writing down her ever single action.

Hmm. Never was into horror too much, but sometimes I can enjoy a thriller. I remember watching one anime movie called "Your Name" (unrelated to horror).

Yes, its more of a thriller than it is a horror movie. It has scary elements, yes, but again, its really more thriller than horror.

I've heard of "Your Name", it looks like it has some mind-blowingly good animation.

Well...I guess you could say that, if you like the Anime visual style. What I really liked though is the story. To be honest I'm having to get used to the Anime visual style because that's something that never caught my eye. Especially anime faces, they always bug the heck out of me. But I'm slowly trying to get used to it. At the moment I've been watching Fullmetal Alchemist.

I know this might sound weird, but whenever I think of the Anime style, I usually think more of the scenery, decor and food that appears in those movies/TV shows. I'm always astounded by how much detail and beauty goes into those.

But if you're not into the way how the people look in Anime, that's another thing about "Perfect Blue": the characters, while they still look anime-ish, they also look surprisingly realistic. There's even one shot in the film that drives this home: it starts off with a close-up of a really exaggeratedly anime-looking woman on a poster, and a group of "real" men walk by, and they all look like normal humans compared to the poster. In fact, most of the characters in the movie are either plain or ugly, with only the more attractive characters playing the roles of actors, models or singers.
