I love this series β some really fascinating environments with a ton of little details all telling their own story. I particularly like the character interaction going on in the darker right-hand side of the image. It really does look like a real lived-in neighbourhood, with its own history (the statues and fancy windows) and loads still going on (the adverts and posters).
I do think that the areas on the right could be a little more varied, as while I like the scene taking place there, I find the large block area of darker colour draws my eye away from the rest of the image. Equally, I think perhaps the other end of the street on the left could also do with some more hints of buildings, as the city seems to stop here leaving the image feeling like a small set-piece rather than part of a larger environment.
Thatβs a minor point though, as the level of attention to detail throughout the rest of the image is simply stunning. It feels like the city is still brighter and more colourful than most, even if itβs a little darker in your universe. Love those oranges and blues!
