I found this art program called It's a step above the basic paint program that comes with Windows but it's a little simpler than Photoshop. I love Paint.Net and this is the 1st pic I've created with it! I know this pic is already on my page in several variations but the lineart was already to go. This was just a way to practice and figure out how the different tools and effects of the program worked. I gotta say that I'm very happy with the results!C.C. - Code Geass © Sunrise Inc.

If you like Paint.NET, try out GIMP, 'cause it takes the whole thing up to Photoshop level ~~

I tried GIMP a while ago but it was a bit overwhelming. So I tried Pain.net to get my feet wet. I'll eventually go back to GIMP once I get some more projects under my belt with Paint.

XD GIMP only has a lot of buttons. Now Inkscape on the other hand is straightout scary.
