Description Back by popular demand, this is one of my very favorite OC's, Jaydon Loire, my Dhampir (half vampire, half human) Character. He actually is the leader of a group of Dhampirs later in his life, roughly during the age of this sketch...he's about 25 years old here...I had fun with this. bought a new Copic marker that I've dubbed "Jaydon Green" just for him...(it's the color of his hair).
He's a sweet character who despises the darker side of himself....and he has an amazing talent as an artist, able to portray emotion to such an extent that it causes others to feel whatever emotion he is trying to convey in his artwork.

Hope you guys like it...don't steal him please.

Well hopefully I've improved since I drew my last sketches of Jaydon.

He's also older here so his hair is a bit different and he's er..filled out a little in the uper body.

HAHAHA Yes I did....right after class today, I went over there and bought it.

Glad you like it. I'm working on part 2 now but I'm trying not to rush the lineart...afraid of making mistakes.

Well, Marcus is, in fact, a vampire hunter. *notices Jaydon's face at this mention* But only to those who attack the innocent and enjoy it; not those who can't control their bloodthirsts.

And yes, they do deserve respect. *sigh* They don't get enough now in days.

Jaydon: I am not like most vampires in that regard....being only half vampire, I don't need blood to survive...but sometimes I can't control that...part of myself. *Looks both embarassed and ashamed* But...at least for now, I've trained myself to deal with that by eating very rare steak.

I love the top right pose, the muscle definition in it...and the shading on his lip on the top left one.

((btw, you are making me consider buying Copics again...Why is it that I will spend a fortune on a doll, yet balk at six dollar markers? XD)

Hehehe...I admit I have a thing for the pretty boys...I don't know why...I mean who really wants to be with a guy that's prettier than they are? I ask you.

Thank you. I am actually a little mad at myself. I should have taken longer on the shading with all of them, but I spent the most time on the top left. I'm happy with the pose on the top right...it took a while to get it right, but I had some pointers/advice from , which helped.

I also have a hard time spending that much for markers, to be honest...it feels like a waste until I put those markers to my manga paper...then all is right with the world. I still hesitate at the register when I see how much it all adds up to...oh well...if you want something done righ it sometimes pays to buy the more expensive things...(no pun intended)

My doll arrived, and my camera seems to be terrified of him, it can't get a clear photo. :giggles:
