Aunty Huia is that hard case, hard Wahine Rangatira aunty, who keeps it real. We've all got that one aunty who tells it like it is. Here at Puna Pakihi she's our financial advisor and represents all of the resources for managing and analysing the financial state of our business'. It's not always easy to listen to our aunties steep requests, but when we do they often do us some serious good.
Huia is a timeless character who is adorned with a Ngai Tahu style Moko kauae to show she is recognised as a female mana powerhouse. She also has the Mangopare tattooed onto her forehead as a representation of her strong state of mind.
She is here to be hard on us about our finances and to inspire us to have discipline and focus while on our journeys toward becoming great entrepreneurs.
