The composition here is very nice, it enhances the vessel in the foreground as well as displaying the scenery where you found it.
The exposure is just right, capturing detail in both light and dark areas of the image, this really helps give detail to the boat.
The colors are nice, and pleasant giving this image a very nice and pleasant mood and feel.
All in all this image is captured in a very good way that gives the image something extra. Beautiful scenery, beautiful detail as well as good composition.

Lonely boat by Matthias-haker is set in a moody atmosphere that adds to the beauty in what comes together as a well composed scene of an abandoned boat.
The artist applied the rule of thirds well with the angle and direction of the boat
The colours in the scene are complimenting the moody atmosphere that the clouds provide and the hills lead the viewerβs eye well through the image.
It also has a great depth of field showing the vast open space that the ship is surrounded with.
The detail of the ship is well captured to reveal its age and the ropes hanging from the deck add to the sense of abandonment.

I'm going to Scotland in less than a month, and this makes me so excited. Wonderful colour, composition and subject matter! The epicness of the clouds and the colours makes me think it was a pirate ship, but it really is just a fisherman's boat. Inspirational!
