Haha, funny you should say that.. I was tempted to put in the intro that the series was inspired by Silent Hill, especially the film.
In a way they are broken images, reflecting the slow death and breakdown in traditional film photography.

Very haunting; for some reason this makes me think of Silent Hill (PSone), don't know why, I don't remember anything like this in the game, it just gives me the same chill I think.
