Description The Nostromo from the 1979 Science Fiction thriller directed by Ridley Scott.
The ship was designed by Ron Cobb and was brought to the screen mostly as a 12 foot miniature and 'in camera' effects. The impressive model was built by Bill Pearson and Martin Bower under the supervision of Visual Effects Supervisor Brian Johnson.
