B.R. 'Standard 4' 4MT 2-6-0 No 76079 climbing away from Grosmont on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.This loco was running as classmate No 76084 to raise awareness of 76084's overhaul, which is at an advanced stage.

The North Yorkshire Moors Railways was my first real encounter with heritage railways. There is however one problem with it: so many people that the trains drown in them. That is the quality of this picture, it is about the steam engine! Nicely done in a bright and sunny English landscape.

I like how I can see farther down the line past the end of the train. Gives one a good sense of... the lay of the line, perhaps? Anyways, great composition.
