Description North Downs were a range of hills in the northern Eriador, fortified by a Dúnedain kingdom of Arthedain against the forces of the Witch-king of Angmar . It resisted for a long time until it was finally overcome in T.A. 1974, long before the War of the Ring.

Díky! Tohle jsem kreslil hodně podle skutečných fotek hor, ale inspirací bylo více, tak jsem rád, že to jako celek vyšlo.

I'm not sure. But I think Fornost should be larger, so this may be another fortress built against the Witch-King..

Just as I imagined it to be! I live close by the ridge way and Malborough downs, near 'barbury castle' and always imagine them as being the 'North Downs' Very nice water colouring, as always <3
