Atanatar I

Atanatar I was son of Turambar, the great conqueror who expanded the territory of Gondor to the eastern lands of Rhûn. Because of his father's victory over the Easterlings, Atanatar's reign was peaceful and uneventful.

We do not know virtually anything about Atanatar I, so the only inspiration for the picture was his name. Atanatar relates to the Atanatári of the First Age. Therefore I used combination of the emblems on the Three Houses of the Edain as a base for the decoration and colouring (look here ). Adding the queen here has no special reason, just after two warrior-kings I found it nice to draw another royal couple.
