Despite walking all day until the sun had started to set and subsequently night had fallen, Cyprus remained in the woods, the shrubbery only growing thicker and more difficult to ford through. Eventually she had no choice but to stop as it was becoming hard to see even her hand- paw- when she moved it in front of her. It'd be easy to accidentally run into a tree and break her nose at this rate. Instead, she chose to take a break for the time being, feeling around in the dark until she found a tree trunk and sliding down against it into a sitting position on the ground with a sigh. How'd she end up in the middle of nowhere like this...? She couldn't really fathom how she'd gotten here from what she could remember last, but the more she thought about it, the less she realized she remembered beyond the basic facts of her previous situation. At least, of where she'd been and what she'd been doing before she'd fallen asleep and woken up as a rat folk.

Now to mention that she hadn't seen any signs of life, either. This wasn't uncommon when she traversed through wilderness, but usually she knew the reason why. Cyprus cast a tired look around her, but whatever she was looking for, she didn't find. "And that's a problem," she sighed, pushing her bangs out of her face with a momentarily dejected expression. The longer this went on, the worse it'd be. She didn't want to think about what this meant.

But she couldn't let that get her down. If anything, she'd just have to work harder. Taking a deep breath, Cyprus lifted her head back up again, and as she did so she suddenly perked up as she spotted something out of the corner of her eye. A glow emanated through the brush, highlighting the edges of plants and trees. Getting to her feet, Cyprus carefully made her way toward it, pushing past hanging fronds to see what the source of the glow was.

The sight that greeted her eyes was something that she'd never seen before, a blooming flower who's petals seemed to emanate an otherworldly glow, one that Cyprus couldn't tell if it came from the plant itself or from the moonlight shining through a sliver of open space between the foliage above. Perhaps a bit of both, if she had to guess. However, the kind of plant was something like she'd never seen before, not even in the wildest pictures she'd ever seen. It honestly mimicked something more like a fictional plant, something from a work of fiction. Moving closer toward the plant, she lifted up her paws to gently cup the flower in her palms, marveling at the impossibility of the existence of it.

And in that moment, the realization finally hit as she put the pieces together.

"Ah!" She announced into the nothingness, her words echoing out through the trees, "I've been isekai'd, haven't I? This isn't something that exists like, at all. Glowing flowers aren't a thing- well, not in my world, at least. But wherever here is, they must be!" Cyprus took a step back, letting go of the flower and looking down at her peculiar colored fur. "And it explains why I look like this, I'm assuming." It didn't answer why, but was that really important? Probably, but Cyprus couldn't find any reason to care, beyond the elephant in the room- or the elephant missing in the room. Though, in regard to that, she let out a small sigh of relief.

"Must've just ended up in different locations somehow... can't be wasting time sitting still." Glancing around, Cyprus turned away from the flower, beginning to move even deeper into the woods. This probably wasn't a good idea, but she knew she had to keep moving, to keep searching.
