as I made my way down stairs, my eyes adjusted to the morning light. i noticed a large red and white mass in my father's rocking chair. as i approached my eyes cleared from the sleep focused on the mass, it was him, father christmas, mr. clause, santa, whatever you want to call him, he had eaten every one of my cookies, the ones with the sleeping pills in them and he was sleeping very heavily, i shook him hard, but santa didn't wake up...
