Description
Just beyond those mountains... The vast and wonderful lands of Equestria! Our hero mister Quick Quill has begun his journey across the country. The road will be long and the path will grow ever the more narrow but that is of no consequence! He has a mission! A mission to take a census of the many different types of pony-folk that live in this great country of ours. It's a big job... but with his trusty magic quill "Pennaceous" by his side anything is possible!

Anyhoo... Sorry I havn't posted anything in awhile... I've had plenty of distractions to keep me from taking a serious interest in a single piece of art.. This I took about a month to color in a long series of short sessions that kept me up way past my bedtime >_<. Had some fun playing with light some more and it looks like my clouds are improving!
I feel like I should say something about who Quick Quill is or what the hay his cutie mark is (heh... cuties mark.. I still chuckle when I say that about a dude...). It's a compass, very original right? Qquill isn't actually like a super writer, he's more of a cartographer/ navigator. He can almost NEVER lose his bearings so he makes a pretty good traveller.. which is all he does.
He's not suppose to represent ME as a person even though I use him as my avatar... I look nothing like him... well... I wear glasses...that's it...
