I'm guessing it's a cargo craft of some kind, but the cargo compartments are throwing me off. The side that looks like it should be up leaves the logos upside down.

True, up is relative, but detachable cargo containers suggest that they will eventually reach a planet or colony where gravity does exist. At that time the company advertising themselves will want right-side-up advertising.
