The Advanced Dynamics A6-EW 'Prowler' was originally designed to support CSF Marine Corps operations in the Mars system and the asteroid belt. For years, Prowlers were a familiar sight in those regions of the solar system. This quickly changed during the Cypan invasion. A6-EW’s were reallocated all over the solar system, in a desperate effort to hold back the ruthless invaders.

Most famously, six Prowlers of the CSFMC 300-sqn ‘Howling Dogs’ were reassigned to the CBC-001 Copernicus to assist the ship’s fighter group to fend off the Cypan invaders. During a mission which later became known as ‘Howard’s Hustle’, the A6-EW’s flew alongside Copernicus’ SF-14 Vampires and USC-007B Peluda's to attack a Cypan forward operating base on Jupiter’s moon Amalthea. In a display of heroics that would still be spoken of decades later, the pilots eventually managed to take out the base. Victory came at a terrible cost though. Amalthea became littered with wreckages. Only four Peluda’s and a single Prowler survived.
