Description Love always needs two persons to be fulfilled. My feelings for her never changed, but i think she doesn't love me anymore. Yet, i still dream of her when i am sleeping and i still see her face and hear her voice... all the time. I miss you. I miss your love.

"Love is much like a wild rose,
beautiful and calm,
but willing to draw blood in its defense" (Mark Overby)

there is a saying, thats sound remarkable to me.

"You will have flowers in your love life, but only about 3 or 4 out of all are roses"

i know the same problem... once loved, always loved.

its just great.
why the german in the background?? or is that just something for the visualisation.

Ok, when I first saw these two side by side in my "deviations" list, I thought I would like the yellow one better. Because the flower was fresh, pretty, alive. But after reading the descriptions on them, I like this one so much better.

Your detail, exposure and composition are great on both. But the symbolism behind this one is so intense. Always one for the dramatic lost love story, I really like the symbolism of the dead, dried up flower. Sad, hopeless, decaying. But it's still red. There's still a little life left in it... a little passion.

Very nicely done.
I'm sorry your heart is broken... but such beautiful art is coming from it.
Keep it up. It's all part of the healing process.

The composition and focus is excellent. Together with the shadow of the rose and the written words, this makes some hell of a gorgeous piece! !

I think it interesting how you've sprayed it with water as you would to photograph a fresh flower.

'Flogging a dead horse'?

I know all the other fellows already said it, but thats just beautiful! It must be one of the best shots I've seen in a long time! Especially with that text....

That reminds me I've got to do some love-shot as well.. Hm... wonder how...

Remember, you'll live through it... Just keep on fighting!

Very powerful words my friend.
What really catches my eye is the sensation of that rose is also a part of her... A part of her you kept.

I love it the color makes it special ive never seen a rose dead that far along that still had color. I also like the water give it a weeping quality or the idea that perhaps someone was trying to revive it.
