As I said its a really good photo. But perhaps it would be better in a smaller full size. It loses some of its impact when it can't be viewed at full size without scrolling.

I had to look at this twice before commenting.
Photographically it is an amazing image, the tone is really nice.
It however invoked a sense of loneliness, although not sure why, it maybe the bleakness of the surrounding land and the overcast sky, the shear industrial nature of the dam design... not sure, that is why I looked this morning before going to work and then looked again after work, to see if it gave that same feeling, and it really did.

Thank you very much. Its great to hear that it invoked some emotion, I agree that it does feel a bit sad and lonely, quite a dark image. Though I felt that the tone was appropriate for it.
