this would've been done and posted last week but I worked seven days straight hahaha still catching up on sleep
so back when I made Tabitha, Marina, and Aki (Feng at the time), I also created a sweetheart named Sebille, a fairy with a torn wing needing to recover. (Sebille: fav.me/d7ljwqs , fav.me/d7kr6nd )

Of all my "stereotypical" ocs, Lorelai is now the biggest revamp I've ever done. I recently watched Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne (I highly recommend it btw) and fell in LOVE with Rin's dark green hair and knew it was what Lorelai needed. Her backstory isn't as long or developed as the other three. Lorelai grew up in a secluded town, somewhere in France, hidden in the forest, along with other fairies. As she grew up, she learned to make potions and ointments to sell in her parents' shop, always wanting to learn more about plants and their uses. Her two older sisters are some of the guards for the forest, making sure humans don't discover their town. They usually tease her that she isn't that spontaneous or adventurous. When Lorelai does have some free time, she goes to her normal spots to collect flowers or herbs for the shop.

One day, something in her tells her to go further, to explore. She gathers new herbs and flowers, but, in the back of her head, can hear her sisters nagging that she could do more. Lorelai, being very gifted with magic, opens a portal (fairies being skilled in portal-making, opposed to others with magic abilities). She plans on going into town for some blossoms that are hard to find in the forest. She misses the exit, so to speak, and ends up in California lol she ends up getting caught in some palm trees near the beach and stumbling upon the condos where Tabitha and Marina live. Marina, luckily on the balcony sees Lorelai and rushes to get Tabitha to help her. As they do, they notice her wing is torn. (At this point in the story, Tabitha and Marina have a new-ish neighbor, Matt his name might change, a single dad who is a chiropractor with some medical training. And who knows about Tab and Marina, that's another backstory for another day.)

Tab and Matt are pretty clueless on how to stitch up a fairy wing but they... wing it. yes I hate myself Lorelai is unable to fly for a little bit, Marina insists that she stay. Secretly, Tabitha is glad Marina found a new friend who she can confide in about being a mermaid/knows about their occult world. Being a white witch and having nomadic tendencies, she's been itching to leave for a while now but not wanting to leave Marina alone. But, at the same time, Tabitha recognizes Lorelai's blue butterfly-esque wings, a big believer in embracing all the changes that may come into theirs lives when they encountered a blue butterfly. yes it's corny but it's true lol

Lorelai weirdly feels at home with Marina and Tabitha, still able to make her potions and ointments and selling them at an underground flea market for their kind, eventually getting a job their. On days she doesn't work, she spends time with Marina in the city, or at the beach, or at the bar she works at (she's able to hide her elfin-like ears for a period of time).
