I'm not sure how to feel about the movie itself, but I do love the idea of April, having a father/daughter relationship with Splinter. It's just a fantastically cute dynamic.

I can see the father-daughter relationship in their pose
Plus, what looks like a little flower in the teacup is a very nice touch
The only thing I don't get is how Splinter knows Japanese if he has nothing to do with Japan, someone should have thought of that
