When I first saw the leaks of the final starter evolutions for Sword and Shield, Inteleon very much reminded me of an obnoxious close-up picture of Spy from TF2 that I would send to buddies of mine to mess with them. So, I drew Inteleon making that same obnoxious expression. Although Inteleon is more like Sniper, I drew this before Sword and Shield came out and I got to experience it firsthand.
