I know only a little of Japanese pholosophy, very little.
But i find often a great relief on how strongly they turn the negative in positive and the positive in negative, pointing out always the other side of the coin.

A damage is something that only something that lived and aged can experience and it deserves honor.

there is a japanese custom that when a precious vase is cracked, the cracks are filled w gold, healed breaks are considered valuable, and part of the beauty of a piece
