Description A straight-up bust of mah boy Caleb got a bit... elaborate.

All the time I've had him, Caleb has been a bit of a trickster character, quick to laugh and quicker to snark. He's not normally such a stoic like I've been portraying him in Oddford. He should loosen up a bit after I finish this arc.

So, Caleb being himself, for once.

I was also going to remark on how much I liked the facial structure. xD

I really think, though, that you shouldn't be afraid to go really dark with your values when you're using colored pencils. Up the contrast a bit! It looks like you know how to shade from what I can see. It would make this look 1,000,000X better if you laid in some darker tones. :3

Thanks so much. And thanks for the advice. I'm still a bit green with real color value; I appreciate it.

Doesn't help my scanner killed all the subtlety. Ughh.

I know, colored pencils scan HORRIBLY!! I used to use pencils, still do on occasion, but they just... scan like crap... it kills me inside every time. ;w;

A Very good idea. He was the director of the kick-arse film Mirrormask, which has quite a bit of that style in it. I recommend.
