Description
The three trolls after they've been turned to stone. As I take my inspiration for the trolls more from Nordic folklore, they look quite different from Tolkien's description. I thought it could look interesting if their hair and loincloths had been covered with or replaced by moss over the many years they've stood in the same clearing. Rather than going for a typical fairytale forest, I decided to make it look more like the forests in Finland and Scandinavia.
