My sweetest old dog isn’t doing well the last couple of days... His tumors are growing, he’s breathing heavily and he can’t hold up his pee anymore. He’s still such a good boy and tries to stand up and walk towards the garden to pee, but he can’t remember his way back and he needs help to lay down and stand up...

Our previous dog suffered too long and we don’t want that to happen again, so he will be getting euthanized tomorrow...I’m  really really nervous and sad..this whole weekend has been very depressing..

I took these photos today while he still had some strength..

I've known the same,
but, years later, the dog is always in
my heart, and i was so lucky to know him.

I just see pure love.

I think that what heart learns stays forever.

I feel his hair and I can even kiss him.

We recently had a similar situation and our dog of 17 years passed away in my arms. This made me cry, but in a good way... Lovely.

I'm sorry for your loss. The great thing about animals is that they don't fear passing on. They're always at peace with it, and he looks like he's live a good, long life full of love.

How old is he? .. i know how hard it is to lost a pet... it a pain hard to explain to peoples who dont own any ....when i lost my pet budgie i was so in pain ...and i had a uncle like...its just a freakin bird! .. ..

My own dog is also going through this process of passing away from cancer. I am so sorry you have to go through this. There is in home euthanasia, the dog is comfortable in their own bed and the vets that come are very kind, just thought I would share.

Oh Dear, losing a friend is always hard I have an old dog myself and seing him hacking and struggling on his feet pains me every time I see him in this state. Your dog will be in a better place tommorow, hopefully with no pain. Be strong for him and stay by his side while he falls asleep, they really need us in that moment...
