Today is Finchwing and my 1 year anniversary ;o; It's crazy to think that a year ago we started dating, which probably also started the best year of my life thus far. We couldn't spend it together IRL, unfortunately but we visited each other in Toronto for nearly three weeks, which was super nice and felt like an entire lifetime.I really miss her and I hope I can visit her again really soon ;o;

I used to do the same, this is art, just... don't try to make sense of art, it's just not possible.
Artists like to do this stuff, there's not a bad/sexy intent behind, end of story.

The same? As in, the same kind of art, or also trying to make sense of art, which you later concluded to be impossible? At any rate, I strongly disagree: that conclusion is based on the idea, that nothing is absolute.
Artists liking stuff doesn't mean anything besides just that, so it won't justify anything, either. The ethical question and interpretation are still open for discussion. Your "end of story" is simply your take on the topic.
I've expressed what sexuality and romance means to me, and now I'm currently hearing and learning what it means to others. I think it is good, providing each side an opportunity to broaden their understanding of the matter. The very least I keep learning how to express, just like I've done for all my years here on deviantART.

And I meant writing paragraphs of logic statements that just ended up tiring me. I try to resume things as much as I can now.
I guess your purpose is understandable though, but people don't take it the right way.
Also, I do believe nothing is absolute, yet it's all absolute at the same time; it is absolute that subjectivity and objectivity have different point of views on a single matter, and trying to prove any subjective statement wrong or questioning it, will cause you to fail at getting an absolute truth, even if there are facts behind mistaken points of views. The best you can do is learn from those point of views, which is what you say you're doing.
But I believe overthinking about simple, trivial topics like this (example: my "end of story" line), can be annoying, not trying to be rude, I just don't see how it's necessary.

Yeah, sounds about right. I believe a subjective view can match the objective truth, but we can only subjectively determine when that is actually the case.
Let's put it this way: your sexual orientation determines - among other things - towards whom you'd physically express romantic feelings of affection. To use 100% animals for this purpose would then implicate bestiality, and giving animals human-like features is a practise I cannot get behind.
That is not trivial, nor does it seem like a simple issue, either. That is why I said your disinterest for continuation was merely your own take, statement on the matter. I appreciate the things I've learned through opposing views, and who knows, perhaps the feeling is mutual.

For some (like me) drawing humans is actually really really hard.
If i ever draw animals in "sexual situations" or whatever (which i dont lmao), then its because i very simply can't actually draw humans.

of course bestiality is just disgusting, but innocent
things such as snuggling, with a drawing
portraying two "fursonas" shouldnt be seen as wrong.
