Description
First piece of my Furuba Project . I want to draw all the Juunishi member (Kyou included), with a quote or something from the series that describes the characters. Since I'm lazy, I decided to do portraits only (no hands or feet ) referenced from manga pics. I try to draw pics that fit their personalities best.

I originally wanted to do a calendar-type thing, but Kyou would make it 13, even though there is a 13th months in the Chinese lunar year (like a leap month, one every few years), but it'd end up looking too complicated/crowded. so I went with a wallpaper idea instead. I thought about doing the characters in normal colours in PSP8, but since I liked my monochromatic technique so much, I decided to use them instead. You might see me doing some recycling . I want to use colours that suit their personalities/associated with them.

Since I'm going in the order of the zodiac, Yuki is up first . The Chinese character in the background says "rat". the little animal silhouette is scanned from a set of postal stamps and edited in PSP8

P.S. still looking for suggestions for quotes for Kisa, Momiji, Rin, Ritsu, Kureno, Kagura and Kyou;
as well as colour suggestions for Hiro, Ritsu, and Rin

Edit 04-29-06: vectored the character in background to make contours smoother. the original was really pixilated. also faded text a bit.
