He kinda hate Deviantart anyway so I'm posting this lovely piece of art here !

These two characters mean a lot, really.
It's kind a of a funny story about two weird guys spending their time drawing weird stuff who met back in high school... It's been almost 6 years I believe ? Back then, we both were playing the same online game but didn't actually knew each other. As one of our common friend introduced him to me, we started chatting over the internet, becoming aware we both had the same interest in art, drawing, videogames, and animation (Well he's quite the animation geek while I prefer video games but nevermind.) It was not only friendship there, but also a constant competition. We spent a LOT of time trying to learn techniques such as anatomy, perspective, colors, correcting each other as we failed. We spent a lot of nights camping the paintchats, cafeinated, to freakin' understand how to draw like our favorite artists, our gods. We spent a lot of time seeking for our own personnal "style". Ah, I still remember that jealousy when he finally managed to get most of his anatomy drawings right. But it motivated me, plus he was always here to give honest and constructive criticism. And I feel it's that way you get better; well, at least it works for me. Over the years, as we were getting better and better, we found ourselves drawing the same characters over and over, reflections of ourselves, avatars, imaginary friends, call that the way you want. The fact is that they grew up with us, going through pain and happiness.We used them to express thoughts we couldn't express in real life, I guess. Dirty, sad, violent thoughts... It was our own world, and nothing is impossible if you have some imagination.
They represent so much. Art, happiness, competition, love, pain, days, nights, coffee, frustration... They're a part of us and their world is still growing, 6 years after.

Ah, and now that bastard is attending animation school so he's getting better at everything ! Not fair.
