This is beautiful. There's a possibility of deaht, but if so, she is relinquishing her soul so sensuously that the process has a magical air. If not, then she is being transformed by the bite. I imagine that either could happen, and it depends on how strong she is - and I sense a strong feeling. She'll be transformed (like a vampire but not into a vampire). She seems to move with the background, like she is one with her setting. This is simply lovely.

she's so about to get radioactive spidey-powers.

You know what the weird thing is? I think the spider isn't the product of the wound since it's in the process of descending toward her, not moving away. For some reason I see that she's had this taint and it's become so heart breaking and difficult to bear it, that she allows this creature as a last resort to 'treat' the wound. Maybe like it's some special black widow that, instead of poisoning, removes poisons instead.
That or I'm just weird when it comes to interpretations of things.
It is a nicely done painting, but like others have mentioned, I think some areas look unfinished to me. Definitely her hair could use some more detail, it feels very unfinished. Her right shoulder also looks far too small and frail when you compare it to the rest of her body size. Other than those two things, the rest looks rather nice. The rendering on her wrist, hand, face, and corset are amazing!

Really nicely done. LOVE the green dress from the actual shades of green to the fabulous techniques used to create a satiny look on the corset. A bit more detail in the hair would have made this a total knockout. As is, it's merely fantastic! lol Great job. She has a beautiful facial profile.

Beautiful! I don't have any real great critique for you...I'd suggest maybe experimenting with a little more detail/ texture in the hair. If the hair is going to be so green, you might want to add a little green to the skin too. I love her expression as well; it looks like she feels a bit of pain, but maybe she's feeling a change too, that she might welcome. I love it!

For some reason, it looks to me almost as if someone's drawing the spider out of her by the silken string, like it belongs in the little hole in her shoulder. But that could just be me

Nice work. Anatomy is good. Though the ear is a shade too small.
The skin looks rather plain, it takes none of the green from the background, which it should.
The details on the corset are lovely being all blurry but most of the image seems out of focus slightly. Some of the edges could be a tad sharper. The hair could also use some refinement near the top of her head. It's all rather one colour at the moment.
Overall the painting has a great feeling to it!
