Description
This is a Robin's egg that I found on my front porch. It seems another bird had come along, pecked the egg open and ate its contents. Following that an ant came along and found what he thought was a treasure trove. Unfortunately for him, as he was gorging himself the yolk hardened around his legs. I found him in there, doomed to die buried up to his thorax in that which lured him in the first place. How ironic....
