Description
This is my tribute to the late, great Freddie Mercury: a caricature of the lead singer of another favorite: Queen!Still popular as of today, Queen's diverse music gave us everything from sports anthems (e.g. We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions) to songs easily recognizable in pop culture (e.g. Bohemian Rhapsody). Queen consisted of not only diverse vocalist Mercury, but kick-butt guitarist Brian May, as well as the also-hot rhythm section that consisted of John Deacon & Roger Taylor, that gave us pomp, flamboyant, often humorous, & awesome music that still rocks, even today.

Actually Switzerland. Montreux is the town where Queen recorded their last album Made In Heaven.

Ah, very fitting that the statue would be placed where their last TRUE album was recorded.
(As you can tell, I'm not really up for the Queen+Paul Rodgers ordeal. Paul Rodgers sounds NOTHING like Freddie Mercury. Dennis DeYoung sounds more like Freddie Mercury than Rodgers does. And John Deacon's not even with them. What's up with that?)

Good. I haven't listened to any of the Queen+Paul Rodgers songs, but I don't really want to, because, without Freddie Mercury OR John Deacon, it just isn't Queen...
