Bleach © Kubo Tite.Belated Birthday picture for the lovely ~fire-star-spirit , just over a month late...
I really like it and yet I know there's still something not quite right. Uryuu used to be so easy to draw but lately he's been giving me so much trouble -- guess that might be punishment for not drawing him for so long... So, really, not much to say about this one at all.

His face is too long, his eyes still aren't right and I don't know why I can't draw him anymore, but I'll keep trying!
Those ribbons are people's spirit threads. They're usually white but Shinigami's are red, so this symbolises Ichigo because my friend is a IchiIshi fan. But Uryuu actually does grab Ichigo's spirit thread when they meet so you don't have to see it as an IchiIshi piece if you don't want to.

Yeah, I remember the spirit threads thing, but not the exact details. It's been sooooo long since those first chapters. The original art has changed so much. ^^ Uryuu will always be dorky!bishilicious, though.

Man, I think he looks awesome! If there's anything at all unusual looking about this piece it's perhaps that there's more of his father in him than usual. But that's hardly a bad thing, as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you! He looked even older on the pencil sketch because the eyes were much smaller. Which wasn't my intention, at all, so I'm glad I managed to correct it a bit when I did the lines.
