The only thing I didn't like was the rocks. I can't make rocks. Dx I need to learn how to make rocks...then I'll go back and make pretty rocks. :3
Didn't originally plan for it to be so big. .-. I usually just go with the flow on pics and draw the head...then make the body and everything follows suit.

I used the pen tool in photoshop to make the outline, then colored it. >> It's a bit difficult to explain without using a tutorial to show as an example, but the shading I used is already explained numerous times across various painting tutorials that I searched for here on dA.

I know you mean no offense, but this peeves me that you didn't bother asking me permission before using it. My watermark is on there for this very reason, because when someone uses it without my permission, other people who see the picture will at least be able to know where it is originally from. I did not draw this picture to be used in your tribute. This was a REQUEST that I drew specifically for someone who asked for it and you are not that person. |:< Try to remember that all artwork comes from somewhere and may be made for a purpose other than free use by everyone. For all you know the images you used were GIFTS that someone meant for someone else and if you know where the artwork came from please ask before thinking you have permission to use it. If you gave someone a really cool gift that you thought was awesome and someone else comes along and takes it without asking, wouldn't you be mightily ticked?
I'm sorry to be frank, but this is my biggest pet peeve that people assume they can use my artwork for one thing when I created it for another purpose, such as a gift, my games or my forum.
