The Fifth Element is my favorite movie.
Leeloo is the character who was engineered to save the universe. Made from the divine race to be the perfect being. She was built to protect life itself from evil.
She is the one character that remains completely selfless through the entire movie. Even when the entire universe almost kills her and she finds the horrible side of human nature.
She also kicks major butt in the movie and is fantastic at it.
Also, Milla Jovovich is one of my favorite actresses, who knows at least a half dozen martial arts, and looks good doing it.
