Sonic 50 Theme Challenge - Miles "Tails" Prower and Tails DollTails Doll gets a bit of a bum rep. I don't find it to be quite the creepy horrific abomination that its reputation seems to imply... so I decided to show its cuter side.
I might have done better to swap the colors and use the lighter orange for tails... oops! I feel like I'm making a lot of minor color mistakes with these drawings. :3

i think the color is ok, although it would of been more reaistic for tails for a lithter yellowish oarnge or something.

Yeah, I think the lighter color would look better on Tails, and the darker on the doll. Still, it's a great & adorable fanart piece. 
And yeah, I often wonder how all the "scarry" Tails doll memes got started.

It's a problem I seem to have a lot with markers. I was like "oh, Tails is orange, here's my orange marker, yay coloring!"
Then I wanted a different orange for Tails Doll and found one that was more "Tailsy." Oops.
Then there's Sonic, where "true blue" was actually a bit too "light blue" for him...
Marker names are really misleading sometimes! :3

Indeed, I never tried using them, (I used to use colored pencils before I lost 'em) mabey I'll give 'em a shot someday, if I can find my art kit.

To be fair, Tails has been anywhere from brown to orange to yellow, depending on the game/comic... so perhaps I'm not too far off...
