Description Sonic 50 Theme Challenge - Sonic the Hedgehog and Motobug

I really don't have much clever to say about this one. I just really wanted to draw it. :3

Sonic looks a little too light, but at the time I only had the option between two blues - one too light, one too dark. Since then I've picked up a nicer blue marker that I think would be more spot-on for Sonic, so perhaps future doodles will look a bit better!

This is True Sonic Style, reminds me of when I used to watch the old sonic cartoons back when I was a child in the early 90's. Great work and even better coloring.

Thanks! This is one of the better pictures I've done so far for this "Sonic 50 theme challenge" I think. I'd love to do some more pictures of Sonic with some of the "classic" badniks out there.

The badniks are nearly limitless, ranging from Sonic 1 to Sonic and Knuckles, good news for you as far as resources go, right?

A lot of my plans for this "50 theme challenge" involve badniks from the genesis era. Chances are there will be more like this alright. :3

If I was going to do this "50 theme challenge" thing, I wanted to add more interest to the pieces than just "picture of Sonic character." There's nothing wrong with that approach, but it just didn't hold my interest.

So most of the "2 character combinations" I came up with have some kind of clever or humorous aspect to the planned picture. :3
