Mom asked me to draw a Christmas card for my godparents this year, of our family as various critters. She ended up making copies to send with her Christmas cards as well, which was pretty neat I thought. I drew this while I was at their house, and their scanner isn't quite as fancy as mine, so the color's a bit off...From left to right:
Fox and me - you've seen us before though.
Mom and Dad - as their favorite animals, a black cat and a bald eagle. Dad says you don't see many eagles with glasses.
My sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Mike - their favorite animals are a white tiger and a fox. I find it amusing that Becky and I both chose a big cat, and we both ended up dating guys who love foxes.
The bottom row is all the various family pets. Lacy and Ruby the rats, followed by Ninja, Salem, Marcel, and Abbot.
Drawing this made me decide that I'd like to do a "nicer" family portrait at some point...

Great Piece, Mandy. You can almost hear them singing. I love the expression of the cat next to the rats (Ninja was it?) Priceless. Merry Christmas!!!

Yep, that's Ninja, he's supposed to be a gray and white tuxedo cat but I guess the scanner just ate the gray... my sister named him for his tendency to hide and pounce on them.
