This was my first illustration attempt in Photoshop, and I'm impressed with both the software and how my drawing turned out! I subconsciously went for a Romantic-era compositional style. I didn't purposefully choose to do that, but it ended up fitting my intentions! We have four generations of cats: Icystrike and his father (Permafrostfire), grandfather (Gildedfeather), and great-grandfather (Timbertalon). Timbertalon was one of the founding members of CanadaClan, and Gildedfeather was one of the best warriors the clan had, before he disappeared during a blizzard. Permafrostfire grew up fatherless after the disappearance. He was a charmer, but he used she-cats and dumped them. He left the clan once his son Icystrike became a warrior, but he was never really there for him.Icystrike has to struggle with his father's legacy, his half-clan blood, and the good side of his family legacy. What is he to do with his life? He's young, and he's got many moons ahead of him...
