Sorry  Malinta , but i really do have to judge from a photographic point of view ,I know i am going to get a group of enemys here by speaking my mind  but that is the only way i can judge ..

Do not worry, Estruda.
I really do not have a problem with it. Perhaps I would react the same way concerning writing. Who knows ^^
And I really cannot imagine that you have enemys because of judging and experience. Also, I know: What not pleases the one, that will please the other. Everybody who works as critic at dA should know that criticism is no personal matter, but a way to help artists to improve themselves. Sometimes people can be a bit harsh because they have not the "fine" note, but nevertheless it is an honest note

Malintra that is such a wonderfull thing that you say , i truly hate myself for judging others in the way i have to , but i have to switch myself off to who i stand in judgment of  and i wsih that my images had to be judged on because i get rejections and it makes me try harder  by no way am i perfect far from it , and i do love much of what you do and sometimes i can see the things that would make what you do a great image...

Thanks, yes I tried the black/white as the original colours were not as good.

This looks very mysterious especially when you've put it in greys. I love the stone work. wish there was a closer look to the faced carved. they've got certain emotions that send out messages. There is pretty geometry in there including the swan picture in the middle. Sure the one who made it had something on his mind do you have more information about this?

Thanks. Yes, originally it was a normal colour photo but I transfered it into black/white with Photoshop. It was very light because of the sun that day, so it worked better out this way.

Unfortunately I have no further information. Usually, when I see an ancient tomb, vault, unusual grave - that is a picture to take. Whereever I go - sometimes locations I have never visited before. But there are other things as well playing a role for me taking cemetery or grave photos. The ancient architecture of course it is first place, followed by beauty and originality. Another place take in feelings that come up in me when I am seeing a tomb/cemetery: Feelings of protection, eerie feelings when the place is reputed to be haunted, feelings of love and belonging together - and a lot feelings more. There are so many feelings you can encounter there.

Alright, this tomb was on a church ground in Zwingenberg. Zwingenberg is situated in Germany, South Hesse. Region Bergstrasse. This is a romantic mountain range street, a little hilly. The church in Zwingenberg is quite old. A lot of ancient tombs are around the church in the yard, formed like a circle around the building. Usually famous people of the place or bishops of the church are lying there. Someone who has to do something with the church in first line.
