Can't take full credit for this idea - saw something similar somewhere online, not sure who did it though. The star is one of those little brads used in scrapbooking.

While i like the concept, the execution left much to be desired (as usual). The weave is too loose and the star was an afterthought, so it moves around some. This ended up being a practice run for another version i like much better: [link]
