"After a brief consultation of generals, the cats rose and assumed a closer formation, crowding protectingly around Carter and preparing to take the great leap through space back to the housetops of our earth and its dreamland. The old field-marshal advised Carter to let himself be borne along smoothly and passively in the massed ranks of furry leapers, and told him how to spring when the rest sprang and land gracefully when the rest landed. He also offered to deposit him in any spot he desired, and Carter decided on the city of Dylath-Leen whence the black galley had set out; for he wished to sail thence for Oriab and the carven crest of Ngranek, and also to warn the people of the city to have no more traffick with black galleys, if indeed that traffick could be tactfully and judiciously broken off. Then, upon a signal, the cats all leaped gracefully with their friend packed securely in their midst; while in a black cave on a far unhallowed summit of the moon-mountains still vainly waited the Crawling Chaos Nyarlathotep. "Then finally, a Moon Beast staggered down the steep steps and entered the hall. The pale creature was covered in scratches and bite marks and still shivered in fear and pain. Nyarlathotep clenched his clawed fingers on the arms of the black stone throne -Where's he?- he asked, well aware that he would not like the answer he was about to get.
The Moon Beast gurgled something in its weird language. Once the tale was told, the creature backed quickly, clearly afraid of its Master's upcoming wrath. But instead of blustering over his terrified servant, the God stayed silent and an almost pleased smile stretched across his lips. -Cats, mh? I think I have a better plan...- ". (from my script)

I mean... think of all the possible comic reliefs in this scenario. And it's seriously a good plan. Carter will adopt this little fellow in a hearbeat.
I dunno how am I supposed to call him though. The Nyarlacat? XD
