I just finished Silent Hill 2 yesterday and I freaking love it!! Eventhough I already spoiled myself I found unexpected the ending, everything just clicked in my head!About the comic... well, when I reached that street with blood where the shadow of a monster appears, the first thing I thought was that it was SOOOOOOOO obvious that I'd have to fight that monster.
I found kinda stupid that you're searching Mary and just decide to go the opposite way because of some blood, human sense would tell me not to go there... But then I thought "Wait, we're in Silent Hill!" and the rest is obvious.
That's also the start of James' desconcentration through the rest of the story XD
Does anyone also thinks that James has a surname that sounds like an ice cream??? I mean, Sunderland = Sundaeland? yeah, that Mcdonalds ice cream

Yeah, that's what I thought as well.
Angela didn't actually specify anything about there being monsters when she said it was dangerous in the town, so he most likely thought that it was an injured person staggering away. It is pretty obvious it's a monster to the player, though ^^

yeah, from the player perspective the shadow screams "Im a monsterrr!". On the other hand, James is a madman, so he defenitly didnt notice that

The first time I read James surname it reminded me of a place that I visited as a child, an old abandoned hotel (sunparks) that was closed after a fire. When I got to the point in SH2 when the hotel is starting to leak I just shivered of all those resemblances from SH and my real life. Anyhow Silent hill made a big part of my life, I guess playing SH1 at age 8 isn't the best thing to do, or actually the best thing to do to become a dark artist.

until today I still dream of those moments, I just dream to much, but hey, every time I wake up I have a whole new story to tell.
BTW...How do you keep a drawing style continuing trough a comic?
Cause I notice that by the end of my comics the style changed from my comic style to "kabouter Wesley".
(perhaps I should start drawing the last image first, but that's a bit tricky if I start drawing without a plot)

umm, I'm not sure how to answer your question. Perhaps you don't continue the comic in one sit ?(well, except if there're too many pages). Or just look back to what you have done and use it as a refecernce of how you want the rest to look like.

I guess I come up with ideas faster than I can draw (when I start drawing a comic I never now how it will end, the "story-line" unfolds itself) and I'm to lazy to make the same effort for every image.

and yeah, usually, I don't think you would want to follow a blood track....but it's Silent Hill, it's the most logical way to go ! XD
