So I haven't done any digital art in about five years, I think. I really wanted to start again, and I guess the first few pieces will be pretty terrible, but at least they'll make good "before" pictures if I ever do a "paint it again" challenge.

This is Arielle, Lirael's mother, as seen in the dark mirror. It was very challenging to make her look ill/haggard without making her look old.
