Upon meeting Tilia, it isn't difficult to guess her usual demeanor; she's lively and fun-loving, a perfect example of someone who has no problem socializing with others and genuinely enjoys doing so. She can easily converse with people and is quick to participate in witty banters among friends and customers, because of this many find it easy to talk to her or be in her company most of the time. Despite these qualities, however, she is far from what one would consider charismatic. Sometimes being a wise ass and cheeky, sarcastic lass can serve to irritate others. At times manners completely slip her mind and she can be quite overbearing; rude when riled up, and unconsciously impudent with her actions, her tomboyish tendencies can sometimes cause trouble especially when her temper is pushed over the edge. Tilia is usually cheery, but frustrate or make her angry than she may as well be considered a ticking time bomb. She wouldn't give it a second thought to lash out on anyone she feels deserves it- damned all titles, sex or age- she won't care not even if the person she's arguing with was bigger than her. This particular trait is not all bad though because alongside the ill-temper and recklessness is courage and a strong sense of justice. In her mind there is no hesitation to defend someone else nor retaliate against people who obviously pick on the weak. Ironic one would say considering her profession, but she holds two rules when working: 1) Never steal from the poor and 2) Never kill anyone.
Her natural stubbornness doesn't help her temper but it does aid her when she sets her mind to do something, but being a narrow-minded fellow renders it difficult for her to easily change her perception of someone or thing; First impressions lasts on her. And while Tilia is not the type to hide how she feels, that doesn't exactly mean she's an open book; things she wants to keep private, she will keep private. Simple as that. This is especially important due to her job, and while her attitude is 'boisterous' she can willingly adapt and tone down (literally) her usual demeanor to do her work properly.
Being slapped with the bitter reality that no matter how good your intentions are or how optimistic you face the day, life will seem to push you back in the most unexpected way. Tilia has become more introspective and matured since the events of 8293, if not bitter and distrusting to the agendas of others- especially with the former Prince Vinicio taking resident in her home for whatever reason, and their duchess readily agreeing so. Her temperament has improved, as well as her ability to gauge other people’s behavior. She still retains her cheeky, forthright attitude, but is reluctant to admit this is sometimes used as a front to cover up her constant worries.
History:
Family and Childhood DaysBorn as the first born and eldest daughter of a half-elf mother and human father, Tilia had a relatively normal childhood wherein she was constantly doted on by her parents. She was a tomboy even then, much to her mother's chagrin but despite this she grew very close to her parents, and with that, their line of work. Her mother was a florist, but had a vast knowledge on medicinal herbs, and her father was a notable Ranger for Miras' Royal guards. It was even through her father did she meet one of her closests friends, Valla the daughter of her father's commanding officer. At first it seemed unlikely they would get along (Valla was more reserved while she was a screaming mess half the time) but this was quickly proven false when they discovered that, despite the difference, they shared similar interests. Plus, Valla actually handled her overbearing attitude quite well.
By age 7, Tilia was happy to call herself a 'big sister' when her younger brother was born. Around this age she started showing signs on her parent's field specialties. Initially she had wanted to be a healer but lacked the magical aptitude her mother had- but she did show a great potential with the bow and arrow, much to her (and her father's) delight. Because of her new found love for archery, and admiration for her father, Tilia and Valla also thought about the possibility of both of them following there father's
Separation and DeathAt the age of 10, Tilia and Valla suddenly had to part ways due to Valla's father being transferred to Miras. Tilia understand Valla's family's responsibilities as long time servants of the kingdom, and while she was sad, the promise of keeping contact with one another lifted her spirits.
For the coming years Tilia's life consisted of her father training her, helping out with the flower shop and helping her pregnant mother take care of her younger siblings. It was through theses years did Tilia's father also frequent Miras seeing as his commanding officer was there. It was a cycle that they followed, and it worked- that was until at the age of 18 did tragedy strike. Her father had suddenly been killed on a secret mission and the news was a great shock to all of them, her mother especially. It was a delicate time and although it was difficult, Tilia pushed herself not to fall into any sort of despair for her family's sake. She knew that without her father raising a family of 8 was going to be difficult, so as the eldest she took it upon herself to take care of her family.
Unexpected ProfessionLife in Amedra was not difficult, in fact- it was a town full of mirth- but she would be lying if she said her family didn’t fall into hard times at some point. It wasn’t only the fact that there was a lot of them in the family, her mother did a good job as a florist and would even sell herbal medicine on the side- no it was the fact that for some reason or another her mother became usual victims of con-artists. The people of Amedra did have a sly nature to them, and it frustrated Tilia to no end because not only did she dislike people tricking her mother (and wasting there money-) she just disliked the whole idea of taking advantage of others.
One day she was out doing some shopping when she noticed someone pick pocketing an elderly man. Seeing that made her blood boil and she had every intention to yell at him but that served to cause problems before (she had become notorious for accusing thieves with n proof- so it just caused unneeded 'ruckus' to others) so instead she opted to try a different tactic: steal it back. Before the fellow could get far, Tilia pressed her luck into pickpocketing back the thief- with lithe hands and swift movement, she did manage to do so without a hitch whilst in the busy streets, much to her surprise. As she returned the money back to the old man, she wondered- could she do that again? She tried it a few more times in different scenarios and she was still not caught. This made her wonder if she could use this new found talent not only to help others- but create a new sort of business.
For years she practiced this new found skill, and eventually word spread of the vigilante. It came to a point wherein some people sought after her as someone for hire- but to keep her identity secret, she was very picky with jobs. Usually only taking on cases of lost items or things stolen from them, those were usually her cases. But if for some reason a rich person sought her out, and she happened to know they reeked of corruption- well then, she wouldn’t mind taking on their request- but for a price.
Current Having entered the military, it was inevitable that she’d be thrown into the thick of the war; her first real fight with troops from Koben was during the Firefall event, where Tilia (with the help of Eoghan) attacked Upper Koben. Immediately after returning from the Empire, news of Delverne’s sudden attack on Cantor had her rushing there- fearful for her family, having deposited them there for safety. With Delverne stopped in its tracks for now, she joined the expedition in the land of Soloros- where she gained a new Ophyr friend-- but also discovered her hatred for light elves. The betrayal from Hegio cut her deep, and with previous offense from Delverne’s elves (the templars’ unfair treatment of her people in Amedra, along with the Holy war) enough was enough. Before she could act on her rage, however, she was teleported to Miras’ inner palace walls- where she found documents about her father. In the palace she also became acquainted with the Princess Marise and Sunan and with their help she was able to report her findings to King Silvan himself.
After recovering from her injuries, she left for Amedra- but after Vinicio’s sudden claims to the throne and his plans to flee to Amedra, Tilia for a time was at loss what to do. Was she to betray her king? Her father would never do that. And staying in Miras would mean fighting Amedra, the place she swore to protect. With a heavy heart she made haste to return to Cantor to bring her family home. Now, re-united, she’s not quite sure where she stands in this whole war anymore.

Relationships:
Family:
>Ian Belaire - Father (Human|| Ranger|| Deceased || 45): A man who threw away his title as a noble and a former ranger in Miras’ Royal Guards, said to be one of the most (if not the most) talented archer of his time. Close to his children, especially Tilia whom he thought everything he knew about archery. Many claim Tilia got her strong sense of justice from him. He suddenly died while in a mission. After years of being in the dark, Tilia may yet finally discovered what happened to her father.
> Lilie Belaire - Mother (Half-wood elf|| Druid || 47): A half elf and a druid, she is very versed in the ways of medicinal herbs. Before meeting Ian, she had hoped to be a healer in the military. Tilia often calls her scatterbrained. She wishes Tilia could be a bit more ladylike. After sending her off to Cantor, their relationship has been strained and due to the elk’s death and the odd effects to shamans/ druids- Lilie has become very sick and sullen. More often than not she is ordered to stay in bed.
> Noah Belaire - Second eldest (Human || Mage || 21): A responsible young man, when Tilia messes up or loses her temper, he immediately takes over the situation. Tilia gets mad at him when he's too cheap. Worries for his sister now more than ever. Currently manages the flower shop, although he has little talent for growing them.
> Agatha and Agnes Belaire (Humans ||Twins || 16): a quiet duo, secretly mischievous.
> Raegan, Genee and Jacob Belaire (Humans || Triplets || 10): Youngest siblings, Tilia adores doting on them, but they can get rowdy sometimes.
