I had decided to do this art for a long time ,some friend ask me for drawing Okami and finally I finish it , I love the Okami's style background that filled with Japanese symbol ,and yes I love the character =w= !!Related content

actually Una okami is the name of the game Amaterasu or ammy for short is the godess's name (Ammy is a godess :3 )

Basically Amaterasu is a sun goddess in some oriental mythology (sorry I'm not sure which one) but she is in the body of a statue of a male wolf Shiranui. So she (the spirit/soul of the wolf) is female, but the body is seen as genderless since it was a statue. This isn't a spoiler because it's shown in the opening of the game. All in all though, it's common to refer to her as a she. Wolf form could be drawn either way really, but human form is and in my opinion should be drawn female.
You might want to play it, it's delightful. Okami for the PS2 or the port for the Wii.
As for your piece I think it's wonderful and how you drew her is adorable. Good job!

i rented it from block buster a while ago, and when i went to gamestop to buy it, they didn't have it in stock
