I don't plan on doing much art this year, but I want to at least celebrate this Year of the Dragon with Mashin Hero Wataru fanart.

Shiryu is the dragon that I really enjoy the way it was incorporated into the plot. Her having a curse that Wataru has to overcome and then directly assisting him and his friend's to progress to next level was a perfect balance of allowing Wataru to overcome challenges on his own while not making it seem like Shiryu is passively waiting until the final battle. Plus, she's the first character to address concern for Empress Seiryuhi and Prince Shoryushi.
