From Jack V Butler Jr: "Action Mike was a popular superheo in the 1970s, notable for not using a pseudeonym or secret identity (he was born "Michael Crenshaw" but had his name legally changed to "Action Mike" in 1972.)
Strong and bulletproof, he was also able to run up to 60 miles per hour. He was a street level hero and concentreated on defending the black neighborhoods of New York City from gangs and from incursions by the Italian Mafia.
Action Mike disappeared in 1976. No criminal or group of criminals ever claimed responsibility and his ultimate fate is unknown."
