Born as the sole heir to the Koture family legacy, Dylanie is as generous and kind as her predecessors were; both in the name her family stands for as well as her own personal feelings towards those less fortunate. Philanthropy has been a staple action for her family, so she will often attend charity events; sometimes even by herself for the sake of others. During these events, she's very professional and well-spoken, often gaining praise from the male businessmen of other companies for her silver tongue. While she doesn't look down upon or pity the less fortunate, her reasons are more so for assuring the public that, even though she is seen as the 1%, she is still a regular human like all the others. She enjoys the overwhelming joy from others that she is able to make happy, even with just a small act of kindness. However, despite her best efforts, she's unable to escape the hushed murmurs of those that are envious of her status; spreading rumors that that's a "catch" to her and her families acts of good deeds. In the public eye, she's able to keep a straight face and act cordial; however, at home or in private where she's able to remove her mask, she's much more emotional and often breaks under the pressure of what society expects of her because of her family name. When she's not busy networking and attending meetings and formal events, she's very easygoing and loves to have fun.
Dylanie is naturally a calm and down to earth person, though she does have her limits. The business-type education she had learned from her tutors has helped her grow a backbone as to not be a pushover. She has been self-sufficient and independent from an early age, mainly due to her parents being away on business often, and no one else but the staff around to socialize with. This hasn't strained her relationship with her parents, however. They make time for their daughter when they can, and Dylanie hold nothing against them when they leave. She is well aware of her family's status and the busy lifestyle that comes with it. She's very practical and is often the one having to rein her friends (namely Mattison) when their daydreaming and/or grandiose schemes get out of hand.
Her creative side sparked upon taking part in Pokémon Performing/Staging. When that door opened up for her, the burst of inspiration flooding her mind upon seeing the different styles and outfits motivated her to become a Performer/Stager as well. Her massive bedroom soon became filled with mannequins; fabric bolts and an assortment of accessories began to fill up her shelves. Her grandmother, before her passing, taught her how to sew, and Dylanie had been using this skill as a creative outlet to exercise the right side of her brain.
The only person that she has allowed to see her vulnerable side--other than her family and household staff--is her best friend, Mattison.

⚈ While other 10-year-olds were busy starting their Pokémon journeys, Dylanie was occupying herself with her love for the stage and Performing. By the beginning of the "'Destiny' Trilogy", these are the Performer/Coordinator/Stager titles she has received (in order): Kalos Queen Runner-Up, Kalos Queen (2-years Running), Top 10 in the Hoenn Grand Festival, Sinnoh Grand Festival Top 5, Sinnoh Grand Festival Top Coordinator. By the start of "Destiny Heroes", she is taking up residence in her family's Kanto estate in the countryside just outside of Centre City. With Kanto beginning their first Performer/Coordinator Contest League, Dylanie is determined to become Kanto's first "Shining Star".
⚈ In her early years as a Pokémon Performer/Stager, she was very self-conscious about her small chest, especially after her body began to go through the biological motions of puberty. She'd often wear outfits that would downsize the chest area, or simply stuff the bust of her dress with tissues, in order to give a more volume for her ensemble.
⚈ Upon making her return to Performances years later as "Dylan Cline", she embraced her androgynous physique. Even though she had to hide her secret identity, she, ironically, felt more relaxed and herself than she ever had before. She was happy that she wouldn't have to worry about the whispers of "She only made it this far because she's a Koture" among the other contestants in the Green Room, like she did in Kalos. Dylanie fully embraced her role as "The Sensational Prince"; turning the heads of contestants every time she entered the Contest Hall, or making the female contestants blush with just a polite smile. No one was the wiser, and she preferred it that way. With this persona, she felt like she could be seen as an equal with everyone without the need for a status. In order to keep her identity secret, she refrains from using the gender-specific dressing rooms; and, instead, arrives at the Contest Hall in her ensemble.
⚈ All of her ensembles she wears as a Coordinator/Stager/Performer are ones that she herself designed. That is, save for her first year as a Performer/Stager, where she wore one of the rental dresses for the Showcase. The moment her grandmother taught her how to sew, she turned her room into bedroom-dressing-fitting-room-closet and would spend her downtime creating outfits for her Showcases.
⚈ While she prides herself in her make-up artistry skills, she isn't very skilled in hairstyling. When she cut her hair for the first time, it was an unkempt uneven mess. What should have been shoulder-length eventually became a bob-style, thanks to the assistance of her housemaid, Henriette. As Dylan Cline, she simply straightens it and pulls it into a low ponytail.
⚈ Dylanie very rarely drinks anything alcoholic, even during formal parties. Only one chute of Champagne--even with a small amount of Grepa Berries used to make the wine--will give her a buzz. Because of her small stature due to her low percentage of body weight, she has less of a tolerance to alcohol.
⚈ Out of all of her family members, Dylanie's great-grandmother was the one she was closest to, which made her passing even more heartbreaking for Dylanie. Her family's signet ring was given to her by her great-grandmother and she wears it wherever she goes--be it on a casual jog around Lumiose city, or to one of her Showcase performances. That way, she feels like her great-grandmother is always with her wherever she goes.
⚈ Dylanie doesn't have a preference for Pokémon Types. While Performers/Stagers enjoy to have their partners be physically appealing during a Showcase, Dylanie sees all Pokémon and their potential as equal, even if their outside appearance isn't as "elegant" as some may like. During her return to the stage, she uses the theme as a "Prince" to format her team: Salamence, Gallade, and Doublade; thus emphasizing the aesthetic of her persona.
