Follow-up to my previous picture [link] , showing Discord chosen by the Crystal, the Heart of Atlantis. Here he is, possessed by it, with a few of the King Stones fallen in the background. The Crystal, according to the Atlantis Wiki, takes control of its host's mind as well as their body, so I don't think Atlantis- or Equestria- is doomed. It binds with their body and their mind, and uses their energy to generate the power needed to erect a force field to protect the people. I am SOOO proud of this one- this was about 5-6 hours of work in SAI (usually I don't work that long on a pic, but I wanted to do this one justice), and the crystal shading for Dissy alone took over 3 hours!! XD I wasn't kidding myself; I knew this one would take a while. I was gonna cut off and take a break somewhere along the way, but decided to keep working, since, for once, a digital pic was actually turning out the way I wanted it to! I had to look up references and everything, for the shading and the stones too. But I think in the end it was worth it, all that work, and I hope you do, too!
