Mad Love

My first attempt at drawing the 90s BTAS version of Mr J. Hmm...he's actually harder to draw than the Nolan version. Who'd have thought it? I hate replicating someone else's drawing style... Oh well... It's not too bad. At least the poses are ok...I think. Not happy with Mr J's face, but whatever. First attempt. *skips off to practice more*

'Mad Love' isn't my favorite episode, (my absolute fave is Joker's Wild, followed by Almost got em ) but it is in my top five. It's not my No 1 Purely because I HATE the redesign they did for season 4. The animation was a lot better, but really, they did not need to change the whole style of the cartoon. Wrong... Plus there is a lot of pretty obvious fan service... but anyway, it's a great character building episode for Harley. Though I did want to throttle her the first time I saw the episode.

Also I just wanted to draw Mr J kissing Harley. Most couples want to kill each other but never actually try to, especially on a regular basis. It may be Mad love, but it's still love. And really, love is madness, and madness is love. The point is this pairing is brilliant, because they always keep you guessing. One minute they're all over each other, the next they want to kill each other. Brilliant.

(BTW, The Nolan Joker and the BTAS Harley do NOT go together. Just my opinion.)
